We are obsessed with the colours in these Chrysocolla/Malacolla Hearts (see other listings), sourced from Peru, these high quality hearts have an array of colours ranging from green to turquoise, reds and browns. Malacolla is a combination of Malachite and Chrysocolla making a bright display of green and blue. Both Malachite and Chrysocolla tend to form in botryoidal or rounded masses. Malachite is a green copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, one of the first ores of copper and Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper phyllosilicate mineral.

Properties
